Elaine Grehan

Elaine opened her clinic eight years ago specializing in lymphoedema and therapeutic massage. Her treatments include manual lymph drainage and combined decongestive therapy, and she completed her training at the Dr. Vodder School in Austria in 2007. Since then she has been working both privately in her clinic and in four different cancer care centres in Galway city and county. These centres provide treatment for cancer related lymphoedema. Privately Elaine treats lymphoedema, lipoedema, post surgery oedema, sinus problems and muscular aches and pains. Elaine uses kinesio tape and a deep tissue oscillator to facilitate treatment. She believes in tailoring a programme so that lymphoedmea patients can take control of their condition and believes that early intervention is the key in managing it.
